In the summer of 2023, RIMMA traveled to Russia. 

From St. Petersburg to Tobolsk, in the center of Siberia.

And in every town, village, and hamlet, She never let go of the feeling that her Motherland had fallen asleep.

Has fallen into winter hibernation.

In liturgical sleep.

 

In this new series «MOTHERLAND SLEEPS» RIMMA present 20 images from her photo diaries of the trip. They are all retouched by hand and with a fine brush. And it’s snowing on every picture.
